For international students seeking community and support, the International Students’ Association of Sokoine University of Agriculture (ISASUA) serves as a valuable resource. Affiliated with the Sokoine University of Agriculture Students’ Organization (SUASO), ISASUA advocates for international students’ needs and interests, fostering a sense of belonging and addressing daily campus life matters. Through correspondence and meetings with university officials and relevant agencies, ISASUA actively engages in enhancing the international student experience at SUA.
Membership to ISASUA is open to all international students enrolled at SUA for undergraduate, postgraduate, or research studies, including research and postgraduate fellows. Currently, SUA hosts 102 foreign students from 22 countries, spanning across Africa and beyond. These students contribute to SUA’s vibrant multicultural community, enriching campus life with their diverse perspectives and experiences. With a range of support systems in place, international students at SUA can thrive academically and socially, making the most of their educational journey in Tanzania.
